We make PICKLEBITS because we couldn't find great pickles on the shelves.
Other pickles are all imported, or contain artificial preservatives. Very few are organic, so they are potentially using harmful and unsustainable farming methods.
PICKLEBITS are all crafted in Wales with amazing ingredients. We never add any artificial preservatives to our products. Just amazing organic vegetables, pickled naturally.
Our sturdy jars are all recyclable or reusable - they are great for re-purposing for lots of uses. And we make sure our postage and packaging is as sustainable as possible, using only biodegradable, compostable or recyclable materials.
We combine a passion for ridiculously tasty food with a commitment to doing things better, because a better pickle makes a better sandwich.
MY STORY
My name is Will, and after a fun career in the Royal Navy, my quest for the perfect sandwich led me to open a street food stall. While I spoiled my customers with amazing homemade pickles, my own kitchen was stuck with bland, mass-produced jars.
The real frustration wasn't just the taste - it was the ingredients. I couldn't find a UK made pickle that used clean, organic produce and zero chemicals. I realised that if I wanted a healthier, sustainable, and superior pickle, I had to make it myself.
So, I took matters into my own hands. I began crafting unapologetically flavourful pickles with amazing, organic ingredients.
I’m constantly experimenting with unique recipes, from classic kosher dill pickles to Japanese style ferments, hoping to create a jar of PICKLEBITS for every palate and every meal.
The result is PICKLEBITS, the UK's most exciting pickle brand!
DAZZLING YOUR SHELVES
Our pickles don't just taste better - they look better, too. While other brands blend into the background, PICKLEBITS packaging is designed to command attention. Inspired by the bold, geometric patterns of World War I 'dazzle camouflage' used on warships, our labels intentionally use bright, vibrant colours and striking lines to achieve the exact opposite of concealment.
